Students come from across the globe to launch their careers in hospitality here.

Hailing from more than 50 countries, our international students bring diverse global perspectives to Kendall College. In return, we provide them with the opportunity to hone real-world skills in the heart of Chicago during a required internship and twelve months of optional practical training after graduation.

RESOURCES FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS:

Office of International Student and Scholar Services (OISSS): Assists international students through every step of their studies, including arrival scheduling, orientation, visa maintenance, employment and internship regulations, and adjustment to academic life.

English Language Services (ELS): Provides free English language, writing and communications support with a focus on common challenges.

International Club: Enriches international student life through the exploration of cultures represented within the Kendall community.

National Louis English Program (NLEP): Gives students the opportunity to improve their English skills before starting one of our degree programs. Includes three ten-week-long levels of instruction with hands-on faculty, small classes and free tutoring.
